Soursop produces a large spiny green fruit with soft white custard flesh that tastes like strawberry and pineapple blended with cream. It is one of the great tropical fruits and almost impossible to buy fresh, because it bruises if you look at it wrong.

A true tropical — it wants warmth and will not tolerate frost — but it grows well in a large container that can be wheeled inside for winter.
